Artists' Windows at Hermés

Michael Eade

Begun in 2005, Artists' Windows at Hermés is an ongoing program of curated window exhibitions and projects featuring original work by internationally recognized contemporary artists. Each project reflects Hermés' commitment to working with artists and designers who exemplify the tradition of artisanship associated with the brand. The program was inaugurated in New York at the Madison Avenue Flagship store and featured holiday windows by New York based artist Michael Eade.

In 2006, Artist Windows at Hermés will expand to 11 projects throughout the United States. Upcoming Artist Window projects include Miami artist Pablo Cano at Hermés Palm Beach and Bal Harbor, New York artist David Humphrey at Hermés Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Costa Mesa, and Atlanta artist Mary Engel at Hermés Atlanta. Coinciding with the 2006 Armory Show, The International Fair of New Art in New York, Hermés will present a project by John Wesley, the artist selected to create a visual identity for the 2006 Armory Show.
